Coach John Bawden was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ. He is a USA Boxing certfified Bronze Level Coach. He has trained Amateur and Professional fighters since 2009. He started boxing in his home city of Elizabeth at 15 years old but it was in Newark NJ at the renowned El Coqui Boxing Club under the tutelage of Manuel "Juancho' Torres where he learned the art of boxing and the science of hitting without getting hit and how to fight in an entertaining and effective style. He would then train at the Elite Heat Boxing Club alongside the likes of Future World Champions Shakur Stevenson, John Apollo Kidd Thompson, Vito Mielnicki and Aaron Kinch. He would begin an apprenticeship under legendary trainer John "Brother Yah-Yah" Thompson helping train fighters and learning the craft of coaching.

In 2021 he opened up the RAZER Boxing Club with the sole goal of creating the greatest fighters the world has ever seen.
